Position: Head Radio Network Planning
Location: Gurgaon
Experience: 8-10 Yrs

Job Description
• Should have extensive experience in handling planning tools
• Ability to analyze RF and quality related issues in the network
• Experience in preparation and finalization BoQ for radio network nodes in co-ordination with NSS and Transmission.
• Lead, coach and manage team of RF engineers
• Experience in WPC/ TEC clearance

Advanced understanding of
• GSM Coverage and capacity cell planning
• Knowledge of Bench marking in the network for competitive analysis.
• GSM Nominal Cell Plan
• Various statistical parameters like Call setup success rate. Handover success rate, handover failure rate, BCCH and SDCCH blocking,Drop call rate, and FER.
• Achievable KPIs
• Sound knowledge of BSC parameters and its effect on Cellular coverage.
• Different types of base stations in the market
• Good Experience of different types of antenna used in cellular industries specially manufactured by Katharine, Andrew, Power wave, XAHT, Tongue etc.
• Around 10 yrs of total experience, out of which, at least 8 yrs of hands-on experience in Radio Network Planning, Frequency Planning, Link Budget calculations and analyzing drive test results
• Good exposure to Network Planning tools like ASSET, TEMS,ACTIX, MapInfo, NEMO etc and equipment used in cellular network
