Opportunity-A must read

Dear All,

I have come across a wonderful story on opportunity which struck me with it's simplicity and similar kind of truthfulness.

Once upon a time there was a young man who was longing to marry a beautiful daughter of the village's most intellectual farmer. He approached him with his wish and showed the readiness to accept any challenge to win his heart. The farmer smiled and asked him come to his farm next day.
Next day the Farmer put a simple condition in front of him that he would leave three bullocks open in the farm and he needs to catch the tail of any one of them. If he succeeds in that he would be eligible to ask for his daughter's hand. The young man laughed in his sleeves and started dreaming about her marriage with Farmer's daughter. The Farmer released the first Bullock which was very healthy and full of wildness. The young man had never seen such a big bullock in his life hence he decided to skip this one and wait for another one to catch the tail of. Bee lying his expectations the second one was much bigger and stout like a hunk. He decided not to play with danger and skipped the second one also. Now, as the last chance the third bullock was freed by the Farmer which brought the huge smile on the young man's face. The third bullock was apparently very weak and thin. The young man ran towards it and jumped to catch it's tail but he was shocked to see that it didn't have any TAIL.

Life is full of opportunity. No doubt some of them are difficult to take on but if we let it go due to fear or lack of self confidence we may never be able to marry a beautiful women of farmer called SUCCESS.

Massage Therapy

An excellent form of passive exercise is massage Therapy. Massage Therapy involves the scientific manipulation of the soft tissues of the body, which if done correctly, can be highly stimulating and invigorating. Massages have been used from the ancient times, as old as 400 B.C and yet been used as a mode of treatment for many ailments, since it has restored many a sufferer to health and vigour.

The general massage, dealing with all parts of the body, is highly beneficial in many ways. It tones up the nervous system, influences respiration and quickens the elimination of poisons and waste material from the body through the various eliminative organs and also boosts blood circulation and metabolic processes. A massage removes facial wrinkles, helps to fill out hollow cheeks and neck and eases stiffness, sore muscles and numbness. Cottonseed oil is most commonly used for massaging, but butter is used for filling out cheeks and the neck and also for breast enlargement. If the patient is averse to oil, talcum powder may be used. Persons with excessive body hair should not use oil. General body massage may be done for 40 to 45 minutes and local body massage for 10 to 15 minutes. The oil should be washed off completely after massage. Different body parts can be massaged in distinctive ways for better healing process. These are described as follows:
Massage of the Joints1. Massage of the Joints: In these cases, affected parts should first be bathed with hot water for 15 to 30 minutes and then the massage should be done for a few minutes. Gentle stroking and kneading is recommended on and around the injured tissues. This thus provides additional nourishment to feed the muscular tissues, helping them to grow strong. Massage is employed for eliminating muscle contraction and of breaking of adhesions. A little moderate kneading, and percussion cause muscles to contract and become stronger. Deep circular kneading and vibration loosens the muscles. Kneading under and round the muscles breaks up adhesions.
2. Massage of the Abdomen: Abdominal massage should not be done after a heavy meal, but after two hours or so. The bladder should be emptied before the massage. The patient is made to lie on his back with his knees drawn up. This enables the abdomen wall to relax. The masseur should stand at the right side of the patient and use his finger tips for friction round the umbilical region from right to left. He should likewise alternatively knead the walls and roll with both hands, making deep and firm pressure. He should knead with the hand and finger tips and keep clear of any wound or tender places. He should later take up massaging the larger intestines.

Massage of the AbdomenThe manipulation of the large intestine should begin on the right side. Keep it going upwards and across the transverse colon and move right down on the left side to the sigmoid flexure and rectum. Circular kneading should be done with the help of the three middle fingers. At the same time press into the contents of the abdomen, following the course of the larger colon with a crawling motion. Keep kneading by means of a few circular movements in one spot with the help of fingertips. Keep moving the fingers a little further along. Knead repeatedly. Use ruckles of the hand to make deep pressures along the large colon, moving the hands along after each pressure. Once the kneading of the abdomen is over, follow up by massaging with both hands cupped or use the knuckles of the hand. The patient could also be asked to do some gymnastic exercises for strengthening the walls of the abdomen. Since blood pressure increases during abdominal manipulation, patients with hypertension should avoid abdominal massage. Massage should also be avoided in cases where there has been recent bleeding in the lungs, the stomach or the brain.
3. Nerves Massage: Nerve compression is recommended for soothing nerves. Grasp the limb with both hands, and create firm pressure around and down the arm. Start with the shoulder and proceed down to the wrist. As you leave the grip, bring the hands down a little and make another pressure. As a result, blood circulation will increase. Spinal nerve compression is extremely beneficial. The palm of the hand does it and the vibration of the fingers stimulates it.
Chest Massage4. Chest Massage: Chest massage is helpful in many ways. The patient is made to lie on the back with the arms at the sides. The masseur starts manipulating the chest by means of strokes with both hands on each side of the breastbone. The movement made up and down, moving down the chest, forms a circular motion. Next the muscle kneading is done by picking up the skin and muscles with both hands. Treatment is given to both sides of the chest likewise. Circular kneading is next done by placing one hand on each side of the breastbone and making the circular motions outward towards the sides.
Back Massage5. Back Massage: The patient is made to lie down with arms at the sides. The masseur effleurages the back from the shoulders downwards using both hands on each side of the spine. Stroking is done from the sacrum upward. Friction follows with each hand at the sides of the spine going down slowly. Next, kneading by muscle picking is done with squeezing. Alternate rapid pushing and pulling movement of the hands sliding down the spine. Circular kneading should also be done. The treatment should end by slapping, hacking and cupping on each side of the spine. Gentle stroking and light kneading of the back is relieving and soothing. Percussion and vibration result into stimulating experience.
6. Massage of the Throat: The patient is made to throw his head back. The masseur places palms of both hands on sides of neck with thumbs under the chin, and fingers under the ears. A downward stroke is next made towards the chest over the jugular veins. Do not exert heavily on the jugular veins. Repeat several times.

How to Write a Resume - 7 Tips

You resume is your calling card. When you send out a resume, this is the first and only representation of you that your prospective employer sees. It`s all very well to talk about strategies for impressing someone at a job interview, but the fact is, most applicants never even make it to the interview stage. Their resume never takes them to that level. While there is never a guarantee you will get an interview --in some cases, the job may be filled before your resume even arrives-- there are definitely steps you can take to improve your odds!

1. Clean and Easy to Read

If your resume appears cluttered or has a font that it difficult to read, you are automatically at a disadvantage before anyone even reads what is written on it. You want to have a professional looking design, an easy to read font and a layout that is easy on the eyes.

2. Correct Grammar and Spelling

Misspelled words or grammatical errors take away from your professionalism. If necessary, use a spelling and grammar check program, which are available now.

3. Address It To the Right Person

This may be a small detail, but make sure you address the resume to the right person. Usually a person`s name is mentioned in the advertisement or listing.

4. Research the Company

Find out a little about the company you are applying to. You may be able to tailor your resume to fit the job better. You can also convey some knowledge about the company in your cover letter, which we will be discussing next.

5. Write a Good Cover Letter

Again, make sure you address your cover letter to the correct person. Don`t write a long letter, but let them know that you are aware of who they are and what kind of business they are in.

6. Include Anything that Reveals Your Talents

Everyone knows to put their education and job history on a resume. However, you should also include anything that reveals your specific talents. You are creating the resume, so you can do it the way you want, as long as you put in the basic information that is required. If you have done some kind of freelance work, for example, or even creative projects that you never got paid for, you can include this.

7. The Internet is Your Friend

Before the days of the web, everything was simply typed out and any references had to be checked by phone or snail mail. Now, you can put websites into your resume. Of course, for references you also want to put physical addresses and phone numbers, but you can add website urls for any information about yourself that might support your cause. Just be careful -if you put your My Space page in your resume, make sure you don`t have anything on there that would possibly turn someone off!

These are some ideas about how to write a good resume.

Drinking plenty of water helps in detoxification of the body. As food is injested water contributes in the breakdown, metabolism and absorption of the food and acts as the key element to remove the waste material from the body and is indeed the basic crux of water therapy.

There are many diseases that can be cured by water therapy, e.g. headaches, obesity, kidney stone, joint and back pain, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, anxiety and depression, fatigue, insomnia, cravings, asthma and allergy, arthritis pain, constipation and solve many skin problems like pimples and the dark circles.

Drinking sufficient amount of water is necessary for proper functioning of body. Water can also play a major role in treating a number of diseases. Chronic fatigue, depression, mental anxiety, gastric disorders, urinary infections, eczema, rheumatism etc. are the diseases that can be resulted from the drinking of less amount of water and can be treated by increasing the intake of water.

The technique of water therapy is very easy. One can have water therapy simply by maintaining following steps. One should take 6 glasses of water or 1.5 kgs of water early in the morning in an empty stomach without taking breakfast or eating any thing. Each glass of water should be taken at a stretch. After drinking the water, urinate 6 times in the first hour of the therapy. One should go to the washroom in every 10 minutes, without any delay. After this one glass of lukewarm water should be taken. If needed few drops of lemon can be added to it to increase the taste. Now one should wait for fifteen minutes before taking the breakfast. Same schedule should be followed at night before going to bed.

There are certain things that should be kept in mind; otherwise the results of water therapy will not be all that satisfactory. The routine cannot be broken for about three months. Someone might feel the sensation of vomiting but this is normal and no need to visit the doctor. During this water therapy, high-cholesterol food cannot be consumed. Along with this therapy at least 8-12 glasses of water should be taken throughout the day. If water therapy is continued in this way, it will definitely gives beneficial results.
